“I am a graphic designer /graphic design educator who lives and works in the Boston, Massachusetts. As the pandemic unfolded in the U.S. in mid-March, there was a need to create and circulate informational messaging. The first poster I created reminded people of the importance of washing one’s hands to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. I created a second poster encouraging mask wearing, and then a third poster encouraging people to stay home to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The fourth poster ‘It’s OK Not To Be OK!’ was inspired by the need to acknowledge that this is an extremely stressful time for everyone and to counter that through it all we should only have a positive mindset as the best way to deal with negative emotions.”
