After months of not being able to physically see family members, the elderly people that live at Vicarage Court carehome in Featherstone, West Yorkshire were delighted when a visiting pod was installed for them. With a glass partition between them and their visitors, the risk of them catching COVID-19 is reduced dramatically. A spokesperson at the care home said the make-shift pod cost just £1,000 to instal.
