When he realised that a lot of celebrities and stylists couldn't physically attend his Spring 2021 fashion show, Oliver Rousteing (who designs for Balmain) was forced to think outside of the box. To include much-appreciated ‘friends of the brand’, the first three rows beside the runway displayed live video feeds of the guests’ reactions to his new looks. Rousteing dubbed this COVID-19-safe way of including absent guests ‘Communauté’.
