The environmental organisation City to Sea—which campaigns against plastic pollution—is urging people to start making reusable face masks. This news came in the wake of the UK government’s mandatory face-mask requirement in most public places. When the rule was introduced, UK citizens reacted by panic-buying millions of single-use masks which are predominantly made with plastics that cannot be recycled. Rebecca Burgess, the CEO of City to Sea has produced this how-to guide to 'encourage everyone to make or buy a reusable mask so they don’t have that impact on the environment.'
