With limited testing resources available in the Ghana, medical professionals have had to think of imaginitive ways to do more with less. The healthcare diagnostics startup Redbird has developed a symptom tracker app which encourages users to self-report symptoms and tag them to their phone number and location. The company are asking Ghanians to ‘check-in’ using the app on a daily basis, regardless as to whether they have symptoms or not.
