Thai culinary pleasures seem to have been disrupted, and the future is uncertain, especially for small restaurants in department stores where every square inch matters. Social distancing does not work well within the food business, which requires close interactions amongst people. This is the origin of experimental design concept BISTRO DOME, which could considerably maintain the number of seats in each restaurant where small groups of related people are allowed to dine together. Coupled with the users’ data and time records, the tracing would be easy and the virus spread contained. BISTRO DOME would work best when the number of infected people is very low.
