Date: May 2020Sharon Refa, a 24-year-old hairdresser in Nairobi, East Africa, braids young girls’ hair into the antennae-like spikes that people call the “coronavirus hairstyle”.
This helps to create affordable hairstyles, and communicates with the public about the virus.
