Out of economic necessity — but also in the interest of psychic relief — the chief minister of Bangalore, India hired a local photo studio to design and roll out posters using their existing digital libraries, photoshop image collections and stock images downloaded from the internet. As an artist it is inspiring to think about how these creative pursuits are changing our models of community and contributing to mapping new paths, offering footholds, safety and equity.
